Thank you to all of you who entered such wonderful photos in our weekly iPhone photography contest. This week’s theme was “Children” and we had an excellent selection of images submitted. Photographing children can be extremely rewarding but it can also be tricky as they move so quickly and sometimes they’re just not in the mood to photographed. However, these winning images demonstrate that it’s definitely possible to take incredible and magical photos of children with your iPhone!
Which one of these photos is your favorite? Please let everyone know in the comments!
How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we published a tutorial covering a selection of great tips for creating incredible black and white iPhone photos.
The article discussed what kind of subject makes a good black and white photo, including high contrast scenes, silhouettes, shadows, textures, subjects with strong shapes, and scenes with dramatic and moody skies.
The tutorial also provided a useful step by step workflow for converting a color photo to black and white using image editing apps.
You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure we can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, June 14.
