Thank you to everyone who entered images in our weekly iPhone photography contest. This week’s theme was “Texture” and any photos that captured the texture of a subject, or had interesting textures applied in post-processing could be submitted. With over 750 entries, it was very difficult to choose just 30 winners, but here’s my final selection of iPhone photos that are really brought to life through a variety of different textures.

How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we published an inspiring tutorial covering 14 tips for taking beautiful close-up iPhone photos of nature.
The article covers tips for getting the perfect focus, as well as lighting, composition and enhancing your images in post-processing.
It also explores the use of macro lenses for capturing extreme close-ups of flowers, leaves, feathers, insects, textures, etc.
So the new contest theme is Nature, and any iPhone photos of the natural world can be submitted.
To participate, simply tag your iPhone photos using IPS2016Nature tag on EyeEm.
You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure we can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, February 14. Winners will be announced on Monday, February 15, and the winning images will also be featured on our iPhone Photography School Facebook page.
