Thank you all for participating in our weekly iPhone photography contest. The contest theme this week was Symmetry, and any photos with a symmetrical composition could be submitted. There’s something really captivating about symmetry so I loved looking through the many amazing submissions this week. With a great mix of natural symmetry and perfect symmetry created using apps, it was difficult to pick just 30 winners, but here are my favorites this week.

How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we featured a tutorial showing you how to take interesting iPhone photos of buildings and architecture. Buildings are all around us, but we often don’t notice how interesting or beautiful they are as we go about our daily lives.
This article covered tips on how to see the photographic potential of buildings, and how best to photograph them both from the inside and outside.
So the new contest theme is “Buildings” and any iPhone photos of buildings or architecture can be submitted. Photos can include whole buildings or just a certain interesting part of a building.
To participate, simply tag your photos using IPSBuildings tag on EyeEm. You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure I can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, November 30.

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners and their photos, they’re all beautifully created; y’all are inspiration. I hope one day make it to the list myself! 😉
That said, my favorites are @U14853334 for the really cool symmetry effect & @allophile for the color contrast and composition. 🙂

Just clarify, what is exactly the deadline each week? Anytime on Sunday? Or a specific time on Sunday? I’m in the US, so if I tag photos by midnight CST, is that soon enough?
Kate Wesson says
Hi Carlos. You can submit your photos any time on Sunday – so right up to midnight on Sunday night/Monday morning your time is absolutely fine 🙂
