How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
We recently published an interview with Sherry Manners – an extremely talented iPhone photographer who takes stunning close-up macro photos with her iPhone.

In this interview you’ll discover how Sherry achieves such amazing clarity when photographing at such close distances to her subject, including tips for focusing and what kind of macro lens to use for extreme close-ups

So the new contest theme is Close-Up Photography, and any close-up or macro iPhone photos can be submitted. Photos can be taken with either the iPhone’s built-in lens or an add-on macro lens.
To participate, simply tag your iPhone photos using IPS2016Closeup tag on EyeEm.
You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure we can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, March 6. Winners will be announced on Monday, March 7, and the winning images will also be featured on our iPhone Photography School Facebook page.

Really chuffed to get my photo chosen for the second time. Lots of great entries for a genre that is not that easy, as I feel it certainly challenges the creativity aspect of photography and mainly without the use of certain apps. Congrats to all entrants who had a photo selected. Not an easy selection process.
Kate Wesson says
Congratulations Mike. I love the colors and shadows in your photo 🙂

I saw the tutorials of overlaying the photos and created a photo on Iphone. In this photo I have used a sunset on the frozen lake and birds in the sky. Please let me know how you like it?
