Thank you for participating in our iPhoneography contest. This week the contest theme was seasons, and while photos from any of the four seasons were welcome, the overwhelming majority of you submitted fall photos. As always, it wasn’t easy to pick the winners and many deserving photos had to be left out. With that said, here are my personal favorites this week.

The New Contest
The new contest is about finding the best angle for your photos, and the new contest tag is #IPSAngle. Check out my tutorial on finding the perfect angle if you need any inspiration.
To participate tag your photos with a creative angle using #IPSAngle tag on Instagram. Your Instagram has to be public or I won’t see your photos. It’s OK to submit old photos as well as new ones, but please do not submit more than 10 photos. All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. I do not feature photos with large watermarks.
The winners will be featured on this blog and on my Instagram on Monday, November 11.

Does the iPhone only shoot square photos? My iPhone can shoot rectangles. Also are these photos shot straight from the phone or are they manipulated after? Thanks, Tom
Emil Pakarklis says
Hi Tom,
Instagram is a square medium, so that’s why most photos in this contest are squares. Most of these photos are also manipulated on the iPhone.

Breathtaking indeed! It makes me long to live in a place where the seasons are more pronounced! Enjoying temps in the 70’s today in sunny California!

Lucky you 🙂

The winner photos are as gorgeous as ever. Especially 1 and 16, even if 1 is a bit of a scary scenery. 🙂
Emil Pakarklis says
Maybe one is a bit creepy, but it was my favorite this week 🙂

There are pretty much my favorites as well, and of course I also like the first one.
But I have to say you have a lot of patience for counting 🙂
