Thank you to all of you who submitted such incredible photos in our weekly iPhone photography contest. The theme this week was “Portraits” and any portrait photos of people or animals could be submitted. It was very difficult to choose just 30 winners, and I had to leave a lot of great photos out of my selection, but here are my favorite iPhone portrait photos that caught my eye this week.

How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we published a tutorial about how to take amazing puddle reflection photos with your iPhone. The article covered tips for capturing stunning reflections in water, whether in a small puddle or a larger body of water.
The symmetrical compositions, where the water often creates a painterly effect due to the faint ripples, can be incredibly striking. And it’s great fun to see what amazing images you can create from just a small puddle on the street.
So the new contest theme is Reflections, and any iPhone photos containing reflections in water, glass or other reflective surfaces can be submitted.
To participate, simply tag your iPhone photos using IPSReflections tag on EyeEm. You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure we can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, March 15.

@neijin0218 is my favorite. I like the juxtaposition of print and color on the grid.

The square patterned wall makes a great background for this portrait doesn’t it.

Do any of you have a hard time editing w/in the EyeEm Platform? I find the app often closes on me. Is this a photo size issue or a platform issue?
alexstarbeck says
how would you do the one that @charliesees did
