The New Contest
The new contest theme is nature and the new contest tag is #IPSNature.
To participate tag your best iPhone photos of nature using #IPSNature tag on Instagram. Your Instagram has to be public or I won’t see your photos. It’s OK to submit old photos as well as new ones, but please do not submit more than 10 photos. All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. I will not feature photos with large watermarks.
The winners will be featured on this blog and on my Instagram on Monday, October 15.

I fail to see how anyone can take decent photographs with an iPhone. I have an iPhone 5 which took pretty decent photographs under IOS 6. Then I made the stupid mistake of upgrading to IOS 7 and every photo I take is out of focus. All I can say for IOS 7 is that it’s a good reason to switch back to a Samsung!

Hey Alex,
I haven’t had any issues with focus in iOS 7, but I know some people have problems with it. Have you tried using a camera replacement app like Camera+ or ProCamera?
Beowulf says
The point is Emil I only use the phone for taking snapshots and candid shots of daily life as I’m out and about. If I wanted to take serious photographs I would be using my Nikon DSLR or my Olympus compact but neither of these is any use for candid life shots because as soon as people see a camera they start to pose and you lose the natural life shot. Using something like Camera+ or ProCamera simply turns your phone camera into a phone camera that’s harder to use. I think Apple should leave the door open for people to revert back to an earlier operating system if the upgrade doesn’t suit them and IOS 7 certainly doesn’t make an improvement in my opinion and in the opinion of thousands of others who are complaining about it.
