Thank you all for participating in our weekly iPhone photography contest. This week the contest theme was lines, and any photos that included lines in the composition could be submitted. With almost 300 submissions it wasn’t easy to pick the winners, but here are my personal favorites.

How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we featured a tutorial highlighting 10 important composition techniques to help improve your iPhone photos. The article featured composition guidelines such as include a focal point, follow the rule of thirds, balance the image diagonally, shoot from a lower angle, include foreground interest, use leading lines, fill the frame, leave space for movement and frame your subject.
So the new contest theme is composition, and any photos that demonstrate good use of composition techniques to create a visually appealing image can be submitted.
To participate, simply tag your photos using IPSComposition tag on EyeEm. You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure I can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, August 17.
