Thank you all for participating in our weekly iPhone photography contest. This week the contest theme was composition, and any photos that used good composition techniques to create a visually appealing image could be submitted. With 322 submissions it wasn’t easy to pick the winners, but here are my favorites this week.

How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we featured a tutorial on how to take interesting photos within your home. The article featured tips on how to find interesting subjects to photograph in your home, how to compose your photos to create unique or abstract images of everyday objects, and how to use natural and artificial light to illuminate your subjects in creative ways.
So the new contest theme is home, and any photos that were taken within the home can be submitted.
To participate, simply tag your photos using IPSHome tag on EyeEm. You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure I can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, August 24.

I love your selections! My favorite is @aureliagould’s photo. It’s beautiful and intriguing. Wonderful idea for the next challenge. I struggle with finding interesting subjects in my own home so this should be interesting. You already have me thinking:)
Kate Wesson says
Yes, it’s a beautiful photo isn’t it. Have fun with the home photo challenge! 🙂

What filters are you using. I mean which app?
Kate Wesson says
Personally I like to use the filters in Camera + as you can layer them up to create the effect you want. I also use VSCO Cam filters on some photos which are a bit more subtle.
