Thank you for the incredible images submitted in our weekly iPhone photography contest. This week’s theme was “Light” and any photos that capture beautiful or dramatic light could be submitted. With 541 photos to choose from, it was very difficult to select just 30 winners, and I had to leave many great images out. But here’s my final selection of iPhone photos that capture stunning light in the form of sunsets, shadows, silhouettes, lens flare and more.

How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
We’ve published several tutorials recently that explore easy ways to take more creative iPhone photos.
Tips and techniques include shooting from unusual perspectives, shooting through different objects, creating abstract images, creating slow shutter abstracts, using props and taking more creative portrait photos.
You can also get creative with photo editing, for example, using special effects to create a fantasy style edit, applying painterly effects, adding distressed textures, using creative blur effects, and creating beautiful abstract art, including abstract flowers and abstract portraits.
So the new contest theme is Creative, and any iPhone photos that are shot or edited to produce an interesting creative effect can be submitted.
To participate, simply tag your iPhone photos using IPSCreative tag on EyeEm.
You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure we can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, December 6. Winners will be announced on Monday, December 7, and the winning images will also be featured on our iPhone Photography School Facebook page.
