How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we published an excellent tutorial covering 10 creative ways to use winter trees in your iPhone photography.
Tips include capturing silhouettes, shadows and reflections of trees, as well as shooting from interesting angles.
The article also shows you how to use wintery weather such as fog, snow, frost, ice and rain to capture more creative photos of trees during the colder months.
So the new contest theme is Trees, and any iPhone photos of trees can be submitted.
To participate, simply tag your iPhone photos using IPS2015Trees tag on EyeEm.
You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure we can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, January 3. Winners will be announced on Monday, January 4, and the winning images will also be featured on our iPhone Photography School Facebook page.

On the Contest page it says the Trees contest deadline is Jan 4, but on this page it says the deadline is Jan 3. Which is correct? I would like to enter the contest, but if the deadline is the 3rd I’ve already missed it.
Kate Wesson says
Hi, sorry – the deadline was the 3rd. We made a typing error with the 4th. I’m really sorry you missed it this time. I hope you can enter this week’s contest on composition.
