Thank you to everyone who entered images in our weekly iPhone photography contest. This week’s theme was “Composition” and we had over 1000 photo submissions. With so many entries, I had to leave out many wonderful images, but here are my favorite iPhone photos that demonstrate excellent use of composition techniques, such as leading lines, framing, foreground interest, rule of thirds, negative space, filling the frame, symmetry and interesting shooting angles.

How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we published an inspiring tutorial about how to overcome your fear of iPhone street photography.
Taking photos of strangers can be a daunting experience, but this article gives you plenty of practical advice for helping you to become a more confident street photographer.
So the new contest theme is Street Photography, and any street photos taken with the iPhone can be submitted.
To participate, simply tag your iPhone photos using IPS2016Street tag on EyeEm.
You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure we can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, January 17. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, January 19, and the winning images will also be featured on our iPhone Photography School Facebook page.
