Thank you to everyone who entered such amazing images in our weekly iPhone photography contest. This week’s theme was “Darkness” and any iPhone photos taken at night or in low light could submitted. Shooting when there’s not much light in the scene can be challenging, but this selection of winning images proves that it’s perfectly possibly to take incredible iPhone photos in dark conditions.

How to Enter the Next Photo Contest
Last week we published a tutorial covering 9 Tips For Taking Amazing iPhone Photos In Busy Cities. This article provides a great selection of tips and techniques to help you take better iPhone photos in urban environments.
The tutorial explores ways to capture more unique shots and tell interesting stories, including photographing people and buildings, capturing quiet and busy scenes, shooting at night, and using different kinds of light and weather to create different moods in your photos.
So the new contest theme is Cities, and any iPhone photos taken in an urban environment can be submitted.
To participate, simply tag your iPhone photos using IPS2015City tag on EyeEm.
You can tag photos in the description field when you upload them, or when you edit the description of a photo that has already been uploaded (tap the three dots icon to edit a photo).
All photos must be shot and edited on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please upload photos to EyeEm in full resolution and without any watermarks to make sure we can feature them on the website. Please do not submit more than 10 photos each week.
The submission deadline is Sunday, September 13. Winners will be announced on Monday, September 14.
